Friends, all of us mouth water at those assorted gourmet muffins and pastries we see at the confectioners’ windows. But often they are highly priced. But how about pulling these droolworthy gourmet muffins at home?


No kidding. You can definitely bake blueberry & raspberry banana muffins at home anytime you’re bitten by this craving.

So, friends, what are we waiting for? Get your pen and paper handy and sit down to note this cool recipe…



  1. 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 tsp baking soda
  3. 1 tsp baking powder
  4. 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  5. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  6. 1 tsp refined oil
  7. 2 tsp butter (soft – at room temperature)
  8. 4 medium very ripe bananas
  9. 3/4 cup sugar
  10. 1/4 cup blueberries
  11. 1/4 cup raspberries

Set the oven to preheat at 190 degree celcius for 10 minutes.

Sieve all the dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, baking powder, and cinnamon powder, together in a big bowl.  Mash well ripened bananas separately, and then add oil, butter, sugar, vanilla extract and berries, and give them a good mix. Fold the dry ingredients mixture into this wet mixture. Caution: Do not over do the mixing or blend.

Line the muffin baking form with muffin baking papers and spray some generous amount of oil on them. Transfer the content into each muffin form one by one. Allow them to bake for 24-25 minutes into the preheated oven.


My blueberries-raspberries banana muffins rose really well. And they looked like this. Allow them to cool at room temperature for over 30 minutes. Top them with whipped cream form and serve immediately.
