Looking for some fresh and light taste in breakfast? Then salad becomes your obvious choice. This high on fiber and low on calories recipe is very healthy for your body.

Soak 1/2 cup whole green grams (moong dal) in water for over 1 hour. And then boil it in a pressure cooker just enough. Over cooking green grams can result in messy texture of your salad.

Finely chop 1 medium sized cucumber, 1 onion, 1 tomatoes and 1 green chilly. Also take 1/2 cup very finely chopped cabbage, 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp honey.

In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients together. To season your salad add salt and black pepper to taste.

Garnish the salad with either chopped fresh coriander or parsley leaves.
