Cookies go well on any occasion then be it guests coming over, party, or evening tea-time get-together. Oatmeal cookies are always healthy over any other cookies available. And having them baked at home is like ‘icing on cake’.

Here is the simplest oatmeal cookies recipe you will ever come across. I promise!


Here is the list of really easily accessible ingredients to get your crunchy oatmeal cookies going-

  1. 200g oatmeal or oats
  2. 100g butter
  3. 125g sugar
  4. 80g all-purpose flour
  5. 50g Cashew nuts and raisins mix
  6. 1 tsp baking powder
  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix well butter and sugar together. Mix baking powder, vanilla extract, oatmeal and all-purpose flour in another bowl. Add cashew and raisins mix. Now pour butter and sugar solution to the dry mixture and mix really well.

Preheat oven at 175 degree celsius.

Now, form small balls of the mixture and place one by one on a greased baking tray.oatmeal-cookies

Bake for 13 minutes only else there is a risk of burning raisins.
