Vegetarian Pie

Hey friends! It’s me again with a whole new recipe for you all.

To cook “Vegetarian Pie” you need refined flour/all purpose flour, butter, cheese, yogurt, carrot, tomatoes, onion, any bell pepper, cauliflower, broccoli, salt and black pepper.

Vegetarian pie

Set the oven to preheat at 225 degree Celsius.

Knead a dough using refined flour (you may use a part of wheat flour as a healthier option) and lots of butter and adequate amount of water. The dough should neither be too hard nor too soft. Take a pie form and line it with butter. Evenly spread the dough on the form along with its edges. Keep this to bake for 10 minutes into the oven.

Finely chop onion, carrot, bell pepper and tomato. Grate about 200 gm cheese. Beat 1 cup yogurt in a mixing bowl and add about 100 gm cheese, salt to taste, black pepper into it and beat again. Roast onion in a little amount of butter.

Now, when 10 minutes of dough baking is done, take it out of oven and set a layer of roasted onion on it, and then set a layer of carrot, tomato, cauliflower, broccoli and bell pepper  mix, and then again of roasted onion. Pour the contents of the mixing bowl over it and spread the remaining cheese also on the top. Keep the pie into oven for 25 minutes.

Although this recipe may seem a bit long and time consuming but it isn’t that long and difficult and I promise you that the result is worth all your time and effort. You will thank yourself for making for every bite you eat!! So folks, happy baking and happy eating!!
